Stodvarfjordur Swimming Pool is one of the few outdoor swimming pools in east Iceland.
Built in 1982, the swimming pool is quite small, (only 16,67m long) and is in peaceful and quiet surroundings.
Along with getting access to the pool itself guests can also enjoy themselves in the hot tub or embrace the cold and take an ice bath (cold tub).
Stodvarfjordur Swimming pool is located in between the villages Primary school and Sports Centre.
Through the years, some people have found it a challenge to find the swimming pool. But no worries, we are here to help. The pictures below show paths which lead to the pool.
If you are travelling by car, there are two parking options. You can park by the Primary school (Skolabraut 20) or the Sport Centre (Fjardarbraut 40b) -> Again, the parking spots are shown in the pictures below.
Stodvarfjordur Swimming Pool is only open from springtime to autumn (May – September)
