Kirkjubaer is a unique Guesthouse for the fact that it is the only Church in Iceland that has been converted into a Guesthouse. The Church was built in 1925 and was taken out of service in 1991.
Kirkjubaer has room for 10 people along with a restroom and kitchen.
Kirkjubaer is situated slightly inwards of the town centre, about 75 metres above Route 1 (The Ring Road).
